John N. Melo worked in the construction field his entire life and wanted to provide a better life for his wife, Inez P. Melo and their four children. He decided to go with his life long dream and start his own construction company. In 1988 he began the process of taking his General Contractor’s License and in April of 1989, Melo Construction was established in Tracy California.

Along with their most current charitable project of managing the “Patrick Medeiros Fundraiser”, in which they will be renovating Patrick’s home and bathroom to provide handicap accessibility.
In 2008, Melo Construction became Melo Construction, Inc. Today it is formed of John N. Melo, his wife Inez Melo, and their sons Louie Melo, John B. Melo, and Paul Melo.
